The Incredibles - Mid-Century Design Muse

The Incredibles –Super Mid-Century Design!
Muse for Modern Furniture and Interior Design

Love this movie! Pixar is part of the damn happy manifesto, after all.
I get so caught up with the action, the characters, the danger, car chases etc. that I sometimes fail to notice home décor muses in our movies until Yancey points them out.

Having seen this movie like 20 times, and after some months of expensive, exhausting remote control counseling therapy, I can now proudly say I’m perfectly OK with hitting the PAUSE button a time or two during non-critical, non-action scenes and soaking up the great mid-century vibe – especially in the home of the Incredibles.

Look for a fantastic mid-century home with Danish modern furniture, a great mid-century TV and Hi-Fi system console, room dividers, shelving systems, upholstery, chochkies, lighting – its all there!

Googled some pics for inspiration.

Hope you enjoy!

Shine on! Braxton

The Dining Room - nice clean lines on the table with tapered legs, stretch console behind, Danish modern chairs

The man cave

Nice mid-century chair, TV and Hi-Fi

Dig the chair, the sofa unit with built in end table, the room divider and surfboard coffee table

The Den, with great door and open shelving on the wall

Wow! Great den people. Nice open space, lamp table, fishy art thingy...move in condition! A cream puff!
